Nashik, Jan 4: Chandrapur's Nilesh Bonde won the city-based annual marathon held here yesterday by crossing the 42 Kms distance in two hours 29 minutes and seven seconds.
The 21-km half-marathon was Hemant Mane.
Over 4,000 students, including participants from Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Kolhapur, Nashik, Nagpur, Sangli, Karad and Aurangabad, took part in the event organised by city based Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj (MVPS).
India's sprint queen PT Usha flagged off the event.
