The Indian women's archery team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Aditi Swami and Parneet Kaur registered a hat-trick of Gold medals at the World Cup stage 3 in Turkey on Saturday, June 22. The Indian archery team defeated Estonia in the finale with a scoreline of 232-229.
This is their third straight Gold medal at the World Cup, having won the yellow metal in Stage 1 and 2 in Shanghai and Yecheon, respectively. The Indian team defeated Estonia's Lisell Jaatma, Meeri-Marita Paas and Maris Tetsmann in the finale in Turkey.
With this win, the Indian women's archery team has also confirmed its place as the World No.1 compound team.
