New Delhi: Hyderabad Hotshots icon player Saina Nehwal Thursday said World Championships bronze medal-winning shuttler P.V. Sindhu has a bright future ahead.
After defeating Sindhu in straight games in their first ever competitive match in the Indian Badminton League (IBL), the World No.4 Saina said the crowd support boosted her confidence while playing the women's singles match.
“Sindhu gave me a tough time in the beginning of the match but the cheer from the crowd really helped me in giving my best and I hope I can continue to live up to their expectations and that of my team. The way Sindhu plays, I'm sure she has a bright future ahead,” said Saina after the match.
The Olympic bronze medallist defeated Sindhu 21-14, 21-8 in a Hyderabad Hotshots vs Awadhe Warriors tie at the Siri Fort Sports Complex here.
