New Delhi: It was yet another fruitful day for Indian athletes after Sania-Saketh in mixed double's tennis and Seema Punia in Discus Throw bagged Gold medals as India maintained the ninth position in the overall standings on Monday, tenth day of 17th Asian Games.

Wrestler Bajrang and the men's tennis combination of Sanam Singh and Myneni picked up silver medals on yet another productive day for the Indian contingent.

Athletes O P Jaisha (women's 1500m) and Naveen Kumar (men's 3000m steeplechase) and wrestler Narsingh Pancham Yadav (74kg) also contributed to the medal collection by picking up bronze medals.

On Tuesday, women boxers Mary Kom, Sarita Devi and Pooja Rani will be aiming for the finals in their respective categories as they will compete in the semifinals while Sardar Singh led Indian men's hockey team will be facing the hosts South Korea in the semifinals.


India also hope for two more athletics Gold medals in Asiad when Vikas Gowda will be playing Men's Discus Throw finals and Siddhanth Thingalaya will be running in Men's 110m Hurdles Final.
