Patna, Jul 23: Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand today hoped that India would win five medals in different events in 2012 London Olympics.
Anand came here to take part in a function here and said that he was hopeful of India winning five medals in different events in 2012 London Olympics.
When asked about his son becoming a chess player, he said he would try to explore as to whether his son have interest in chess.
“I will try to find out his interests and I would leave it to him to decide about his activity. Even my guardians did not know that I have interest in chess,” he said.
“Now it has become very easy to watch chess anywhere and learn the game but this opportunity was not available during the period when I started going to a club to play chess,” Anand said.
“Even one can play chess on the internet now,” he said.
