As Indian athletes continue to shine at the ongoing Asian Games 2018 in Indonesia, Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is doing every bit to keep the athletes in high spirits.
Rathore, who is an Olympic Silver medallist shooter, was seen serving snacks to the athletes in Indonesia.
Rathore's kind gesture has caught everyone's attention and the minister is receiving high praises on social media.
Since taking over charge as the Sports Minister in 2017, Rathore has taken numerous steps towards improving the sporting culture in the country.
At a recent event, Rathore announced that said that a games period will be made mandatory in schools after reducing the syllabus by 50 per cent by next year.
Rathore said the ministry is planning several things to make sports more relevant.
Rathore, a Padma Shri awardee, won a silver medal in shooting at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
