India’s star shuttler and Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu will face Spain's Carolina Marin in the quarter-final of the Singapore Open Super Series today.
This will be second clash between the two players in a month. Earlier, Sindhu had defeated Marin in the final game of India Open Super Series in New Delhi.
The Sindhu-Marin clash is scheduled to be the fifth match of the day. The tournament is slated to start at 12.30 pm IST.
On the other hand, Kidambi Srikanth will take on Shi Yuqi of China and Sai Praneeth will face Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk of Thailand in the men's singles quarter-final.
The mixed doubles pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Sumeeth Reddy will take on the Chinese pair of Lu Kai and Huang Yaqiong.
