Rio 2016 wrestling bronze medallist Sakshi Malik, who returned to a glorious welcome back home, is all set to tie the knot this year. The groom for the Khel Ratna awardee, say reports, will be Satyawart Kadian, an international wrestler from Rohtak.
"It was decided before Sakshi left for Rio Olympics that they will get married," Sachin, Sakshi's brother, told media.
Satyawart's father Satyawan was a renowned wrestler himself and now runs an akhada in Rohtak.
"They (Sakshi and Satyawart) are getting married and it will be a huge affair. Satyawart trains here in my akhada when he is not competing or in the national camp," Satyawan told media.
Satyawart won a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and also a bronze medal at the Asian Championships in the same year.
Satyawart, who competes in 97kg category, is considered a talented young wrestler and has won many international medals.
He is two years younger to Sakshi, who turned 24 this week
