Indian shuttler PV Sindhu defeated China's Chen Yufei 21-15,21-18 to enter the finals of the Dubai Superseries Open. The Indian shuttler didn't break a sweat as she won the semi-finals in straight sets to storm into the finals.
Sindhu had eased past Japan's Akane Yamaguchi in the quarters and will now face her in the finals of the Superseries again. Japanese shuttler defeated Thailand's Ratchanok Intanon 17-21, 21-12, 21-19. Sindhu who is the lone Indian shuttler is currently unbeaten in the tournament so far and now just a finals away from claiming the season-ending trophy.
Sindhu has already won India and Korea Open Super Series at the start of the season, while she has grabbed silver at Glasgow World Championship and Hong Kong Open. Sadly the season end didn't exactly work out for Kidambi Srikanth as he bowed out of the finals after a series of losses.
