Hockey player Manpreet Singh is the new entrant in the list.Love relationships are not new to sports stars, but if it's an Indo-Pak connection, it automatically draws attention.Punjab-born midfielder, who is featuring in the ongoing Hockey World Cup, is in love with Illi Najwa, a Malaysian of Pakistani descent.Even though, Illi is settled in Malaysia, her relatives are still based in Pakistan, and she visits the country frequently.In 2012, Manpreet met 21-year-old Illi during the Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia. However it was not as simple and straight, like any other love story, this tale too had its twistManpreet first saw Illi during an India-Pakistan match, but he did not know how to contact her. He then got Illi's phone number from a stadium official, and without wasting time expressed his love to her.The two recently got engaged and have decided to marry post 2016 Rio Olympics.
