The 17th edition of European Football Championship is all set to be played from June 14 to July 14 in Germany. The hosts are set to face Scotland in the opening game of the tournament. As many as 24 teams are taking part in the Euro Cup and they have been divided six groups of four teams each. The final is set to take place at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on July 14.
Apart from Germany and Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland are part of Group A. Defending champions Italy have been slotted in Group B alongside Spain, Croatia and Albania. Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal side is part of Group F with teams like Turkey, Georgia and Czech Republic. 2018 FIFA World Cup Champions France are in Group D.

What is the Euro Cup 2024 Format?
The format is simple for Euro Cup 2024. 24 teams are already divided into six groups of four each. Top two teams from each group will qualify for the Round of 16. Remaining six teams for the pre-quarter finals will be the best third-ranked teams from the six groups. Pre-quarter finals will be followed by quarterfinal, semis and finals.
