The group stage of Euro 2024 are done and dusted with 36 matches taking place in 12 days. Georgia upsetting Portugal with 2-0 win was the biggest headline of the final match day in the group stage as they also qualified for the round of 16 and will face Spain in their knockout fixture. Apart from Georgia, Netherlands, Slovakia and Slovenia are three other teams who finished third in their group but still made it to the next round.
Croatia is one of the major teams to get knocked out of the tournament in group stage. Luka Modric and his men couldn't win a single game and could accumulate only two points and thus were not amonst the best third placed teams among six groups. The round of 16 fixtures will be played across four days now with two matches each day starting from June 29.
The fixtures will begin with Italy facing Switzerland and the round of 16 will end on July 3. France vs Belgium is a huge game in this round where one of the favourites will be knocked out of the tournament.
