Mirpur: The International Cricket Council allowed Bangladesh to replace injured pace bowler Rubel Hossain with all rounder Mohammad Ziaur Rahman at the World Twenty20 on Sunday.
The world body announced the news after Hossain dislocated a finger during Bangladesh's last qualifying game against Hong Kong on Thursday.
Rahman has scored 108 runs and taken two wickets in 11 T20 internationals.
Bangladesh plays its first Super 10 game of group 2 against the West Indies on Tuesday.
