Ranchi: Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's wife Sakshi casted her vote today at the Jawahar Vidya Mandir in Shyamli, Ranchi.
Soon after casting her vote, Sakshi Dhoni tweeted: "first time saw Mahi's school campus....Also I voted today!! #Jharkhand please come out and Vote!!"
The Election Commission had made the Indian captain its brand ambassador in Jharkhand to persuade people to cast their votes, but Dhoni could not cast his vote as he was in Australia in connection with the ongoing cricket series.
Dhoni had studied in Jawahar Vidya Mandir in Shyamli, Ranchi.
The EC had also made archer Deepika Kumari its brand ambassador, but she also failed to cast her vote as she was busy elsewhere.
