Port-Of-Spain, Apr 21: West Indies coach Ottis Gibson has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee after pleading guilty to breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the drawn second test between West Indies and Australia.
Gibson challenged the accuracy of the Decision Review System and its implementation by the match officials at a news conference after Tuesday's third day of play at Queens Sports Oval.
Match referee Jeff Crowe said on Friday that "Ottis accepts that he overstepped the mark during the game and has now accepted his sanction."
Australia leads 1-0 in the three-test series.
