Visakhapatnam: Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium here will host a one-day match between India and West Indies under flood lights on October 14.

     

It would be the third of the five-match series between India and WI, starting October 8. Chairman of organising committee M T Krishna Babu said it was a good batting wicket and spectators can expect a run feast.
     
President of Andhra Cricket Association D V Subba Rao, secretary G Gangaraju, Vizag collector N Yuvraj, DCP M Srinivasulu and members of the organising committee today held a meeting here and formed 10 sub-committees for smooth conduct of the match.
     
"We will be holding another meeting on October 4 and will announce the date of start of sale of tickets," said Gangaraju.
     
Vizag is also expecting to get Test venue status in the next general body meeting of the BCCI, he said.
