Mumbai: Team India vice-captain Virat Kohli has signd a Rs 10-crore a year deal with German sportswear giant Adidas, propelling him to the top of Indian sportspersons raking in money from ads and sponsorships.
Kohli has also signed a Rs 6.5 crore a year deal with a prominent tyre brand that had master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Steve Waugh as its ambassadors in the past.
With this, Kohli is set to overtake Sachin Tendulkar, long past his prime, and Team India skipper M S Dhoni.
