Bollywood actor Vidya Balan has denied reports claiming that she will be the brand ambassador for the embattled Kochi IPL team.
The actress who belongs to a Palakkad Brahmin family was the fans' favourite to be the ambassador for the team from Kerala, but Balan said that she has not even been approached with a proposal.
"I have no clue about it and no one has approached me yet," she said.
So as of now, fans of the 31-year-old actress will not be seeing her cheering from the stands.
While leading actors like Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty are team owners, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are the ambassadors for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team.
Vidya also refused to comment on the Tharoor-Modi controversy.
