New Delhi, Oct 21: India pace bowler Umesh Yadav has been ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing limited overs series against England due to an injury and will be replaced by Abhimanyu Mithun.
India officials said Friday that Yadav suffered a finger injury during the third game in Mohali, which India won by five wickets to take a winning 3-0 lead.
The 23-year-old Yadav, who figured in all three games, has a total of five career wickets in six one-dayers.
The 21-year-old Mithun has played four tests and two one-dayers, and will join the team for the fourth one-dayer in Mumbai on Sunday.
The final game will be played in Kolkata on Tuesday, where the teams will also clash in a solitary Twenty20 game on Oct. 29.
