But legendary players like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Kumar Sangakkara, Brett Lee proved that form is temporary but class is permanent. As IPL 7 will be arriving within couple of days, there are legends who are surely going to be missed by the fans.Here's the list of the players who will not be seen in IPL this year:RAHUL DRAVIDThe “WALL” of Indian cricket who used to be criticized by the fans for his slow batting in limited overs game proved everybody wrong by his ultimate T20 class in IPL. He showed that if you have class and ability you can succeed in any format. Dravid led his team Rajasthan Royals very impressively in IPL 2013 not only with his aggressive captaincy but also with with bat; forging superb opening partnerships with Ajinkya Rahane. The team played superb cricket right through. But pity that players like S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan, Ajit Chandila with their spot-fixing involvement took the sheen out of the Royals spirited showing. A team which critics thought deserved to go all the way. Rahul Dravid will now be working as a mentor for RR.RICKY PONTINGForget and the monkey-gate issue of 2008 and look at this picture of IPL 2013 where Harbhajan hugged him warmly after Ricky Ponting took a catch on his bowling. He announced his retirement from IPL during the tournament.BRETT LEEAustralian fiery speedster Brett Lee started IPL 2013 in a spectacular style for the Kolkata Knight Riders. He with a searing pace sent Delhi Daredevill's Delhi youngster Unmukt Chand's stumps cartwheeling with the very first ball of the tournament. But sadly he did not produce that spark later on and very surprisingly sat out of the remaining matches. He was not retained by his franchise and in the 2014 auction he remained unsold, thus effectively ending his IPL stint.MAHELA JAYAWARDENE & KUMAR SANGAKKARAThe veteran duo of Sri Lankan cricket will not be seen in action packed IPL any more. Mahela represented Delhi Daredevils in 2013 which ranked last in the points tally and Sanga played for Sunrisers Hyderabad as a skipper. These two were an absolute treat to watch in the shortest form of cricket. After winning World T20 for their nation, they retired from T20 international cricket too. It is certain that the fans will miss these to gentlemen to the core. SACHIN TENDULKARThe list could never be completed without one name and that is “Sachin Tendulkar”. The God of cricket would be missed not only by the Mumbai Indians fans but by the fans of other franchisees too all over the world. Being the only Indian to be an Orange Cap winner, he proved that T20 cricket is not restricted to any age rather it is the experience that matter. He finished his last 50 over World Cup with a trophy, last Champions League T20 with a trophy and last IPL in 2013 with a trophy. What more can be memorable for him and the fans during this IPL?
