New Delhi: India have lost nine out of eleven test matches when their batting order collapsed after being in a reasonably decent position in year 2014.The worst collapse was at Oval in the second inning

Southampton and Manchester tests were no different as Indian batting line up kept falling like a house of cards.

At Southampton, India in the second inning of the third test, were 80 for two wickets when a batting collapse happened and they lost 8 wickets for just 98 runs. India lost the test by 266 runs and allowed England to level the series after winning Lord's test.

During fourth test at Manchester five Indian batsmen could add just 13 runs before returning back to the pavilion. At one stage India were 53 for one but reduced to 66 for six. They lost the test by an inning and 54 runs.
