In a group match that was held in Karachi India won the match by making a mockery of Pakistan's total of 299 runs. The main contributors from the Indian team was Virender Sehwag who scored 119 runs and a quick fire 84 from Suresh Raina which helped team India to reach the target with six wickets in hand and also having 47 balls to spare.
