New Delhi: Sudhir Gautam, the biggest fan of Sachin Tendulkar and Team India, was attacked by a mob after the second ODI match between India-Bangladesh in Mirpur.
According to reports, Sudhir, who always accompanies Team Indian on its overseas tours, was attacked for waving tricolour.
He claimed that Bangladesh supporters attacked him to take revenge for their team's loss against India in the 2015 ICC World Cup quarter-final.
He said that the mob pelted stones and attacked his auto-rickshaw outside the Sher-e-bangla stadium after India's 6 wicket loss.
Sudhir added that he was saved by two policemen when the mob attacked him.
Sudhir is currently travelling with the Indian Team to Bangladesh to support the Men in Blue.
India lost their second successive ODI match against Bangladesh to hand over the historic series win to the hosts.
The 3rd and final ODI is scheduled to be played at Mirpur on 24th June.
