World Cup 2015:  Team India had a disastrous preparation for the World Cup and was slated to play against the arch rivals Pakistan in the first game of the quadrennial event.

Indian  bowlers in the World Cup 2015 were a complete revolution at the World since it was the only team in its pool to bowl out its six opponents and take sixty wickets a feat which was really commendable considering the fact that it is generally considered that the main strength of Team India is their batsmen. India reached the semifinals of the tournament where it faced the ultimate champions Australia and lose to them and ending their World cup 2015  as a semifinalist.

India Tour to Bangladesh (2015) : Team India were seen by the cricket pundits to win  the ODI bilateral series against Bangladesh but this was the series when for the first time many believed that MS Dhoni who is also known as ‘captain cool' lost his cool and gave a statement to express his frustration. Bangladesh had a new star in the making as Mustafizur Rahman , gave Bangladesh its first historic win against India in a bilateral series.

It was shocking series defeat for Dhoni's boys but Mustafizur who is the most talked about cricket became the second Bangladeshi bowler and tenth overall to take 5 wickets in an ODI debut  game.  India avoided a humiliating white wash by winning the final game of the season and readinga scoreline of 2-1.
