Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Leg spinner Imran Tahir celebrated his test comeback by taking his maiden five-wicket haul in his test as South Africa bowled out Pakistan for 99 on the first day of the second test on Wednesday.
Returning to test team after 11 months,Tahir sliced through the batting order his country of birth, claiming three wickets in the space of 11 deliveries before lunch. bagged two more after the break as Pakistan's innings folded cheaply. He was bowling against Pakistan for the first time in test.
His tally reads 5-32.
Pakistan stuttered from the outset after winning the toss and electing to bat when fit-again Dale Steyn had Khurram Manzoor caught off only second ball of the match.
No. 9 Zulfiqar Babar scored 25 to add 33 for the last wicket with Junaid Khan, before Steyn wrapped up the innings by clean bowling Khan and taking 3-38
