The 2022 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) is all set to take center stage on Tuesday as 38 teams will compete outright to be called the domestic T20 champions. Tamil Nadu, who are the defending champions, will look to win the trophy for a record fourth time, while the competition will be played in five different cities for the group stage. Ahead of the tournament, here is all you need to know about the tournament.
