Colombo, Sep 13 : Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene and opener Tillakaratne Dilshan struck quick half-centuries as the hosts beat West Indies by nine wickets in Thursday's warm-up game ahead of the World Twenty20.
Jayawardene hit six fours and two sixes in a 35-ball 57, while Dilshan scored 50 off 38 balls as the tournament hosts chased the West Indies moderate score of 132-6 at Nondescripts Cricket Club.
Sri Lanka reached 135-1 with more than four overs to spare.
