Rajkot: South Africa captain AB de Villiers won the toss and opted to bat against India during their third One-Day International (ODI) at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium here on Sunday.
The 5-match series is level at 1-1. South Africa had won the opener in Kanpur by 5 runs while India bounced back in the 2nd with a 22-run success in Indore.
South Africa team is unchanged while India brought in leg-spinner Amit Mishra in place of paceman Umesh Yadav.
"This is terrific pitch for batting," said former India skipper Sunil Gavaskar in his pitch report. De Villiers too had agreed after winning the toss. India captain MS Dhoni said he too would have wanted to bat first.
