Elected to Lok Sabha on a Congress ticket from Moradabad, UP, Azharuddin married former Miss India turned actress Sangeeta Bijlani.
This is his second marriage, after he divorced his first wife Naureen, with whom he had two sons, Asad and Ayaz.
