Colombo, Jun 13: The third one-day international between Sri Lanka and Pakistan was abandoned as a no result after persistent rain at R. Premadasa Stadium on Wednesday.
Two rain interruptions forced the players to their dressing rooms and although the rain ceased by 7:30 p.m. local time, the umpires decided to call off the game an hour later due to the wet ground.
Only 6.2 overs of play was possible and Pakistan, after electing to bat first, was 12-2 when rain arrived.
The five-match series was square at 1-1. The fourth ODI will be on Saturday at the same ground.
