Shirdi, May 8: Flamboyant Indian opener Virender Sehwag today visited the famous Shirdi Sai Baba temple in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district.
Sehwag, who last night led his IPL franchisee Delhi Daredevils in a losing cause against Mumbai Indians in Mumbai, reached Shirdi by helicopter and drove to the temple in a police jeep.
Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan's chairperson Jayant Sasane and Maharashtra minister Radhakrishna-Vikhe Patil welcomed the cricketer and presented him an idol of the religious figure and also a gold coin for playing a crucial role in India's recent World Cup triumph. PTI
