On-going cricket matches were called off for the condolence to the death of Philip Hughes.

India's tour of Australia was supposed to begin from 4th December, but the 1st Test match has been postponed, as enitre nation mourns over his death. Special tribute are being given to Phil Hughes by the Australian sportsman.

Hughes' ODI jersey no. 69 was made to retire after players ' request.

Australian rugby team The Wallabies confirmed they would wear black arm bands as a mark of respect when they play on Sunday morning.

A flag with reference to the English cricket fans, the Barmy Army, is laid out among tributes at the entrance to the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Cricket matches were cancelled across the country, bats were placed on doorsteps while thousands of tributes to late cricketer flooded in to echo an unspeakable grief.

Flowers, a cricket bat and condolence messages were left outside Phillip Hughes' parents' house and property in Macksville.

Queen Elizabeth II sent a mournful private message expressing her deep condolences to Hughes' family.

On the other hand, Sir Elton John stopped his concert in Munich, Germany on Thursday night to say a few touching words in honour of the late Australian batsman.

Virat Kohli who will lead India in the first Test match against Australia also gave a tribute to Hughes by placing a bat and cap at a memorial outside Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

Well, like all believes, Hughes indeed will remain not out at 63 and continue to rule our hearts forever and ever. Happy Birthday Hughes !
