South Africa continued their merry run in the ongoing ICC Men's Cricket World Cup with another sensational 149-run win as the Proteas pummeled Bangladesh in yet another run-fest in Mumbai. It seems like if South Africa are batting first, a huge 300-plus total is a given. South Africa batted first for the fourth time and on all four occasions, they have crossed the 300-mark and 350-mark three times as their batters continue to launch assaults, especially in the last 10 overs.

Quinton de Kock and Heinrich Klaasen were the stars for South Africa yet again as the duo stitched a 142-run partnership for the fourth wicket. De Kock smashed his third century of the tournament, a career-best 174 while Klaasen's high-flying run decimated Bangladesh as he scored a quickfire 90 off 49 before David Miller with a 15-ball 34* provided the finishing touch. South Africa ended up scoring 382/5, which is their 8th 350-plus score in ODI World Cup history.

South Africa were on level with Australia after their 399-run attack against England and now hold the record for most 350-plus scores in history. Pakistan are yet to achieve the mark in World Cups. Pakistan's highest score in the World Cup is 349, which came in the 2007 edition against Zimbabwe.

Teams with the most 350+ totals in World Cup history

8 - South Africa

7 - Australia
4 - India
3 - England
3 - New Zealand
2 - Sri Lanka
2 - West Indies
0 - Pakistan

383 was always going to be a tough total for Bangladesh to chase and despite a valiant hundred from the veteran Mahmudullah, Bangladesh were skittled out for just 233 runs with Gerald Coetzee continuing to take wickets for the Proteas. South Africa are now in second place with eight points and will now face Pakistan in Chennai in their next game on Friday, October 27.
