Mumbai: Ahead of their match against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2015 encounter here on Friday, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma said the match is going to be an exciting one as the hosts are well aware of the visitor's strengths and weaknesses.
Mumbai Indians have lost all their three matches played so far in the tournament. They were beaten by Rajasthan Royals in Ahmedabad by seven wickets, by Kings XI Punjab at home by 18 runs and by Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL opener in Kolkata by seven wickets.
Whereas CSK have won the two matches they played so far, beating Delhi Daredevils by one run and Sunrisers Hyderabad by 45 runs. Both fixtures were held in Chennai.
"It's going to be an exciting game playing against Chennai. It is always good to play against them. They have played two games and won two games. We know their strengths and weaknesses. We will try and work accordingly and do the best we can for our team," Rohit said.
The 27-year-old skipper pointed out the team needs to get their start right when it comes to batting, especially in the first six overs.
"We have to aim to bat well in the first six overs. Boys are getting out easily at the start. We all need to focus on giving the team a good start. We are working on the issue," he added.
When asked about the new talent Jagadeesha Suchith in the Mumbai squad, the skipper said: "Suchith is a smart cricketer. I haven't seen him much before the IPL. I heard quite a lot about him. His skills looks to be in order. I am impressed with his attitude so far. He has shown he can do the job for us at this level."
