Pune, Apr 14: Raju Gaekwad, a diehard fan of batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, is the proud owner of a collection of 20,000 photographs of the batting legend.
The photographs include Sachin during his childhood, teens, manhood and right up to the present day when the maestro is thinking of opting out.
Gaekwad has been a fan of Sachin since his childhood days. He is presently working with a bank.
The photographs include Sachin as a boy holding a bat in his hand, playing pranks, making a record partnership with Vinod Kambli, his joy on scoring his first ton, etc.
Gaekwad faced financial problems in his zeal to collect these photographs but was never deterred.
Says Gaekwad: "Sachin himself saw this collection twice and praised my efforts."
Gaekwad has mounted photo exhibitions in several cities. On Sachin's birthday, he calls over friends and cuts a birthday cake.
