New Delhi: Team India batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has slipped to seventh position after New Zealand's Ross Taylor moved up a spot to his best-ever ranking of sixth due to his fine form in the ongoing series against the West Indies.
Troubled Australian batsman David Warner has leapfrogged above England duo Ian Bell and Alastair Cook up to 11th place in the new ICC Test rankings for batsmen after scoring runs in Ashes in Perth.
Opener Warner followed up his first-innings 60 with 112 in his second knock as Australia earned a 150-run win at the WACA to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
Those scores left Warner as the leading runscorer in the series and helped him move up three places in the rankings, as Bell and Cook - the highest-placed England players - each slipped one place to 12th and 14th, respectively.
The same players occupy the top 10 of the rankings, with South Africa duo AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla leading the way ahead of Australia skipper Michael Clarke.
In the bowling rankings, England's nemesis Mitchell Johnson has moved up three places to 14th spot - level on 663 points with Graeme Swann, who slips a spot after New Zealand's Trent Boult stormed up 11 places to 10th.
Johnson has been in stunning form during the Ashes and recorded match figures of six for 140 in Perth.
Swann, who took three wickets in that match, is one of three England bowlers to slip down the rankings, with James Anderson dropping three to 13th and Stuart Broad down one spot to ninth after being overtaken by India's Pragyan Ojha.
The top seven is unchanged, with South Africa again providing the top two in Dale Steyn and Vernon Philander with Sri Lanka's Rangana Herath in third spot. Australia duo Ryan Harris and Peter Siddle are sixth and seventh, respectively.
