Chandigarh, March 30: A sumptuous menu of South Asian delicacies and mouth-watering dessert will be laid out at the Mohali stadium for the Pakistan prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and his delegation.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will sit with Gilani for an early dinner. The special menu, prepared by chefs at the Taj in Chandigarh, will offer shahi idlis, sabz biryani, murg lazeez, special dal and bhindi, chhamp ki biryani, gosht burra, tawa ki machchi and tandoori salmon among other dishes, reports Indian Express.
For dessert, on the table will be kesri phirni, rabri and gulkand ka kalakand will be served.
Apart from the main course, there will be five starters. Fresh coconut water, jal jeera and pomegranata juice will be served.
"The menu has been prepared on the request of the Prime Minister's Office, as they desired. The meeting of the food committe of PCA was held in the morning in which it was decided that both the prime ministers will have an early dinner at the conference room of the stadium", said an official.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will stick to vegetarian food.
