Durban, South Africa (AP), Mar 21: A 153-run partnership between recalled opener Imran Farhat and captain Misbah-ul-Haq gave Pakistan a three-wicket win over South Africa in the fourth one-day international on Thursday, sending the series to a deciding game.
Farhat made 93 and Misbah 80 to help the Pakistanis past South Africa's below-par 234-9 to reach 236-7 with eight balls to spare and level the five-game series at 2-2 ahead of a fifth game in Benoni this weekend.
Pakistan rode a late scare when it lost Farhat and Wahab Riaz in four balls at the end.
Towering fast bowler Mohammad Irfan took two wickets with the first two balls of the match in a rampaging start for the tourists as South Africa failed to post enough runs despite half-centuries from AB de Villiers and David Miller.
