Lahore, Mar 30: Pakistani off-spinner Saeed Ajmal may undergo surgery for suspected hernia, the cricketer said.
Ajmal said, he was examined by doctors who told him that he might require a surgery for suspected hernia.
Ajmal had been suffering stomach pains for the past two months.
The highest wicket-taker for Pakistan in all three forms of the game for the past two years, Ajmal said, the surgery could take place next month, before Pakistan's ODI series against Scotland and Ireland.
He said,he would take a two-week break from cricket, but would definitely take part in the Champions Trophy in June.
