Cape Town, Feb 11: Pakistan's seven-foot-plus pace bowler Mohammed Irfan took 4 for 20 in a two-day match against emerging Cape Cobras here, and staked his claim for a Test debut.
Pakistan will play the second Test in Cape Town from Thursday.
Rahat Ali took 2 for 27, but Irfan stole the show triggering a collapse of the Cape Cobras batting order.
With Umar Gul and Junaid Khan rested, the Pakistani team bundled out Cape Cobras for 156 runs.
Spinner Abdur Rehman took 3 for 31. Pakistani batsmen practically failed, with skipper Misbah ul Haq staying on the crease with 44 runs.
