New Delhi, Oct 13: The inquiry committee of Pakistan Cricket Board today requested India TV to provide unedited tapes and transcripts of the sting operation conducted against two Pakistani umpires Nadeem Ghauri and Anees Siddiqui, who have been suspended from officiating in domestic and international matches.
In a letter sent to Rajat Sharma, chairman and editor-in-chief, India TV, Barrister Salman Naseer, member, PCB inquiry committee has requested India TV to send its undercover reporters associated with the sting operation for interview in Lahore, or if not possible, the committee would be willing to visit New Delhi to interview the undercover reporters.
The letter said, PCB has set up the inquiry committee to probe into the matter in an exhaustive manner and submit a detailed report of its findings.
India TV has stated that it would be ready to provide all unedited tapes and transcripts of the sting operation to facilitate a free and fair probe.
