Iqbal Qasim, the chief selector of Pakistan cricket team, has tendered his resignation in the wake of the team's dismal performance in Australia.
Iqbal Qasim had earlier said that a post-mortem would be carried out over the team's disastrous performance in Australia.
Qasim, 56, had been appointed chairman of a new, restructured national selection committee in July last year, after the board had disbanded the national senior and junior selection committees the previous month.
