Melbourne, Mar 13: New Zealand businessman Ralph Waters has been selected as chairman of the organizing committee for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Cricket Australia and New Zealand Cricket said in a statement Wednesday that Waters, formerly the committee's deputy chairman, will replace James Strong, who died last week from lung complications following surgery at the age of 68.
The tournament will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand in February and March, 2015, with dates and the location of the final to be determined.
