Mirpur (Bangladesh): Afghanistan today sounded a warning to Bangladesh, saying they will do everything to beat them again at the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup, having shocked them already during the Asia Cup.

"We play a lot of T20 cricket. Our first game is against Bangladesh. We will try and beat them in T20 as well," Nabi told reporters at the post-match press conference.

Afghanistan and Bangladesh are clubbed along side Hong Kong and Nepal in group A in the qualification round and just one team makes the cut to the main draw.

"We have come to international cricket not so long ago. We will take a little bit time. We have already qualified for the 2015 World Cup. We will bring a batting coach from Australia and New Zealand," he said.

Afghanistan today lost to India by eight wickets at Shere Bangla National Stadium and Nabi said the team enjoyed the experience of playing against the world champions.

"They are world's best team in ODIs, also in Tests they are a big side. We gave them a good fight but Jadeja and Ashwin bowled brilliantly and got lot of turn. The target was not enough for India. They have a lot of depth in batting," Nabi said.

"We were excited to play first ODI against India. Hopefully, we will try harder and do best next time."

He further said his batsmen were good against pacers but it was Ravindra Jadeja who made all the difference.

"We are good against fast bowlers. We scored 50 runs in first 10 overs. But the pitch was a little different. Jadeja bowled very well and got turn and bounce," he said.

On the overall experience of playing in their maiden Asia Cup, Nabi said the side had come to put on display their talent and learn from the Test playing countries.

"We have not come here to win the Asia Cup. We are here to perform and learn something from the Test playing nations.

We have done a good job, having won against Bangladesh. It's a good sign for Afghanistan cricket. We are just missing a good middle order batsman. We will work hard and learn," Nabi insisted.
