Chennai, April 1 : Legendary Sri Lankan spinner Mutthiah Muralitharan's mother-in-law Nithiya Ramamurthy is facing a dilemma - whom to support: India or Sri Lanka in the World Cup final.

Nithiya is a doctor in Chennai and she wants that both India and Sri Lanka be declared joint winners.

"To be honest, it is a difficult question. I don't know whom to cheer for. I would be happy if the match is tied and both India and Sri Lanka are declared joint winners", Nithiya told a Mumbai tabloid.

Nithiya's daughter Madhi married Muralitharan in March, 2005 and they have a five-year-old boy Naren.

"My daughter will obviously support her husband's team. And as per Indian tradition, I would also have to support my son-in-law. I have to be with my daughter and her family. But I also want Sachin Tendulkar to score his 100th ton on Saturday. If that happens, chances of Sri Lanka winning the match will be minimized. Therefore I am confused", said Nithiya.
