New Delhi: There was a time in cricket matches where only some batsmen were known for hitting big sixes during the match but with the introduction of Twenty20 cricket format the number of bighitters has shot up.Now we have more batsmen who go for the big shot in almost every game and in tournaments like Indian Premier League there is a special award for hitting maximum sixes throughout the league.We present here a list of top batsmen who hit maximum sixes in IPL history:1. Chris Gayle: The Caribbean hard hitter has hit the maximum number of sixes in the history of the IPL. Chris Gayle has struck 180 sixes in 59 IPL matches he played for the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. 2.
