Shaun Tait has been a great performer for the Australian line up. He was the team member of the Australian batting on important occasions and served his country with his tremendous pace bowling. He also played IPL for the Rajasthan Royals. Tait is presently out of the Australian squad and lets hope that his marriage brings him luck and hope that he will again stun the cricket world with his bullet-like deliveries.
"She's a lovely girl, she's pretty busy here in India but it's great to get the chance to see each other again," Tait said.
"We met during the IPL (last April). I was playing for Rajasthan Royals, Mashoom was doing a fashion parade at an IPL function and it's gone from there.
"We've met in all different places and when she's had time off work she's been able to come and visit me in Australia, which has been good."
The 27-year-old Singha is busy mixing modelling with running an events management company and said she was drawn to Tait's humility and laidback nature.
"The thing I like about Shaun is he's quite shy," Singha, an avid rock-climber, said.
"He's really modest and that really attracted me towards him.
"He's not one of those, `Oh, I'm a cricketer' kind of guy. He's very down-to-earth.
"Both of us like to keep things low key. We are close to our family and friends, so it's not so much about the limelight.
"That works for us both, we keep things quiet."
Tait spends the next four months in India and Singha said the couple were managing the tyranny of distance well.
"Whenever I have time off, I travel and come see him, so it's working," she said.
