New Delhi : Former India cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin on Sunday denied reports that he has married for a third time.
"News about my 3rd marriage is incorrect and false. Please check facts before publishing," he tweeted.
Earlier, reports of former Team India's skipper Mohammad Azharuddin marrying for the third time were doing rounds on social media after the news was published in a daily.
Shannon Marie Talwar, originally from Los Angeles, USA, studied at Riverside Community College. She is now based in Delhi. She says, she is a certified teacher of 'transformational yoga'.
Shannon is a director at AVA Clothing Pvt Ltd in Nodia in partnership with Atul Aggarwal. They have done fashion work for Nikka New York, April May, Stella Forrest, Pedro Del Hierro, Guess Jeans, Miss Sixty and Hoss Intropia.
Prior to fashion designing, she worked as Business Development Manager for vCustomer, handling American clients from India.
The photographs with Azharuddin first appeared on a website fashionscandal.com, and was published in HT City , but Shannon says the pictures are morphed.
Shannon told the newspaper: “Yes I'm friends with Azhar. I have lots of friends, and I don't have to explain the nature of my friendship to you.” However, she called back again and claimed that the photos are morphed and that the two never went on a holiday.
Azhar was first married to Hyderabad-based Naureen, whom he divorced after nine years of marriage. Azharuddin later married Sangeeta Bijlani in 1996. His marriage to Bijlani lasted 14 years and the couple separated in 2010.
