New Delhi: Martin Guptill of New Zealand has hit the second fastest half century in one-day international history in just 17 balls.
Guptill also broke Brendon McCullum's record of hitting fastest fifty off 18 balls by a New Zealand cricketer.
He is now at the second sport, just behind South Africa's AB de Villiers and equalling Sri Lanka's Kusal Perera and Sanath Jayasuriya.
Guptill is the first cricketer from New Zealand and the fifth in the world to score a double century in an ODI match. He currently holds the record of highest individual score in World Cup and the second highest score in One Day Internationals of 237 (not out) runs.
