Mumbai: After Bowling out India for 495 runs on Day 2, West Indies started their 2nd inning poorly. West Indies were 43/3 at the close of Day 2 play. With full three days to be left for play, Windies are trailing by 270 runs.
West Indies once again started badly losing Powell when the score was just 15. Powell is to be blamed for his wicket as instead of seeing the day through he tried to loft Ashwin over the long off where Shami took a running catch. He made just 9 runs.
Since there were still few overs remaining for the day, Tino Best came as nightwatchman but he too departed after Ojha trapped him LBW. He too contributed 9.
After losing two quick wickets West Indies sent out their regular batsman Bravo but only to see him coming back with scoreboard reading 43. He was caught at slip by Vijay off Ashwin.
